Tis' the season to be grateful and express gratitude

Gratitude should be expressed everyday not just around the holidays.
But somedays it is hard - when your tired and stressed to stop and think about what you are grateful for. Gratitude can help shift our mental focus from negative to appreciative thoughts and helps us reflect on what is positive in our lives. It is a great tool to use to re-center.
Research has shown that gratitude can enhance our moods, decrease stress, and drastically improve our overall level of health and wellbeing.
Gratitude is important to express and those around us too. It can help those around us feel appreciated. It is important to give back to those who help us!
Ways to practice gratitude:
write down 3 positive things that happened that day (can be took a nap, finished a book, watched your child hit a milestone, etc.)
give back: donate your time or items
meditate
download a gratitude app (example apps: Gratitude, A Gratitude Journal, 365 Gratitude Journal - Self Care)
perform random acts of kindness
write a HAND WRITTEN note to others instead of a text
etc.
What are you grateful for today?
